Hello and welcome to Residência Alto Saco — our small guesthouse overlooking the peaceful bay of Tarrafal, on the island of São Nicolau.
We created this space for travelers who want more than just a room — a place to slow down, breathe, and feel the real Cabo Verde.

Here, mornings start with mountain light and the smell of coffee, and days unfold between ocean swims, local rhythms, and new friendships. We’re always happy to share tips about hidden trails, local food, or where to catch the best sunset.

São Nicolau is still one of Cabo Verde’s best-kept secrets — wild, warm, and wonderfully authentic.
